Bugnutty's is the second local brewery my son and I have visited. I have to say it was a great experience. The ambiance was subdued and quiet during the week, but the regulars were friendly and the bartender even friendlier. What blew us away was the number of offerings - from Pilsners to IPAs to plain Ales to stouts. And speaking of that stout, what a name, "Mike's MILF Stout", holy mackerel! We found it quite funny. Anyway, there's no food, but they certainly don't frown if you come in with a pizza or takeout from the nearby chinese restaurant. In fact, they encourage it. We certainly will make our rounds of Bugnutty in the near future.

I have to say that Yelp let me down on this one. I had read such good reviews that I decided to make a weekend out of it. What a waste of time. It's average beer at best in a rundown section of town. Even if I lived in the area I'd just go to the Mansion instead and choose from their selections. Granted they were out of the Stout and the Porter which are my two favorite types of beer but that's on them as well. If you do go get the Red Wheat and Blue. It's the best of an average bunch All in all I expected better and so should you.

Review of the beers Camel Toad Pils - ABV 5.24 IBU 28.3 Just a nice drinkable pils. Nice example of the style. Crisp, clean, with a slight bitter hops on the finish. If you can't drink this, you shouldn't be drinking beer. Sticky Foot Pale Ale ABV 5.69 IBU 36 Easy drinking beer. Pours a clear light amber color. Big malt presence, not a big hoppy pale ale but tasty none the less. Paddy's Vanilla Irish Cream Ale ABV 6.26 IBU 12.8 This was one of hoppy girl's favorites at Bugnutty. I loved the how much vanilla was present and how creamy it was. Tasted like cream soda and beer had a baby. Excellent job! Zeus Will Smite Thee IPA ABV 7.24 IBU 70.2 Bugnutty was experiencing technical issues with this one, so it's not fair for us to comment. Fuyu Gingerbread Man ABV 5.65 IBU 24.5 This was hoppy girl's least favorite. There was lots of ginger present, so if you like ginger beer, this might be for you. Would make a good palate cleanser between bites of sushi. The hoppy boy liked that it wasn't as sweet as lots of Christmas time gingerbread beers. Mike's MILF Stout ABV 4.86 IBU 43.2 Light roast aroma. Big roasty flavor, mild chocolate, lactose character not really present which caused a creamy mouth feel. Too Finger Porter ABV 4.98 IBU 21.5 Not a much flavor as one would expect from a Porter. A bit watery. Suzie's Red Belly Ale ABV 5.24 IBU 35.3 This was hoppy girl's favorite of the flight. Pours a clear amber color. Malty flavor and aroma with some hop notes, but not overpowering. Great amber!

Plan on staying awhile if you want to taste all their beers. The bartender (long haired guy) thought he was clever but he was just an ass. Thank god the beer was great. I'm not an IPA fan but I try them anyway. Their IPA almost had a sweetness to it, which made it very smooth. My favorite was the MILF stout.

Great Craft Beer! Laid back atmosphere. Just off Courtenay, definitely worth finding!

This was a really nice spot, they have tons of room, plenty of seats everywhere and a large tasting bar. My poor husband was a little bummed because they were out of all of their IPA's and IPA is his favorite. Lucky for him they also serve beer from other breweries so he was able to get some IPA after all. We always prefer to drink from whatever brewery we are at so he also tried some tasters of their own beers. I found three that I loved, the Paddy's Irish Cream Ale was good, the Red Wheat And Blue was even better and the Fuyu Gingerbread Man was the best. it was amazing and probably my most favorite beer that I had at a brewery while on my trip to Florida. I wish they had that beer in bottles because I would have bought a bunch!

This is a brewery over in Meritt Island, near Cocoa Beach and the port. They've been open about 5 months. It's a smaller location, though they mentioned they'll be expanding. The strip mall is rather nondescript and a bit run down, but it's definitely worth the visit. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The inside was well maintained and clean. They have a wide selection of their own beers along with guest taps and even a small wine list. They don't have a kitchen, but did have some snacks available. It looked like a lot of cheese, along with Planters nuts, and small bags of chips and jerky. I tried the gingerbread, milf stout, and blueberry wheat. The gingerbread was heavy in ginger, which I love, but don't expect it to taste like gingerbread. They said they'll be tweaking this one. The milf stout was solid, tough lower in sweetness than I prefer. The blueberry wheat had a very nice balance of blueberry, which was nice. All in all, the beers were good and I'm happy to see local brewery in this area. I love supporting local breweries and can't wait to see how they develop! I'll certainly be back whenever I'm in the area.

In town to catch some spring training games, we went here on the advice of the manager of a local liquor store whom we met the day before. Never before have we been been to a brewery where 8 out of 8 offerings were so finely made. The Zeus IPA has a great dry-hop aroma, while the Irish Cream Ale had an amazing vanilla flavor and creamy mouth feel while not being sweet. Also loved the Red Dragon IPA and Dragon Drool strong ale. We had gone to Cigar City in Tampa and Florida Brewing Co in Port Canaveral the couple days prior, but neither had anything as good as Bugnutty. Being a nano brewery in a rather hidden storefront location, I hope they find a way to grow and survive . Their beers are too good not to have a big following.

We gave it a try, sampled 8 different brews.. Most were undesirable however the atmosphere and people were great. We will try this place a couple more times... Maybe it's just not what were used to from back home in California?

Excellent beer, with average strip mall atmosphere. They have a wide selection of their own micro brews All are well made. And a diverse selection of guest taps. John the brewmaster and his friends provide good service. No real food.

This place is awesome ! They have 10 of their own beers on tap plus a dozen or so other beers . Very nice relaxing atmosphere. They do serve a few snacks and things now and you can also order in and bring in your own food.

Very good atmosphere and nice selection of their own brews. It would be nice if they had snacks.
